River, Lubich, is not far from Kiev. It is a narrow and shallow river, and it's length, in a straight line, is just 10 kilometers. But the most interesting thing about it is that it flows out of the Desna river and flows back into the Desna again. What an enviable loyalty!
In the past, You could drive across Lubich through a single bridge to get to the beautiful vast meadows and a number of small lakes. But few years ago the bridge was destroyed by the debacle, and nobody seems to want to rebuilt it. May be it's due to local poachers, who are very active here.
Green Sandpiper on the bank of the river.
Moulting Kestrel
Lesser Grey Shrikes are everywhere, and it's easy to find their fledglings.
Two Black Hawks hunted on a large meadow, which lies in a bend of Lubich.
At the same time and place, a Black Stork flying around. I had a long time enjoying the spectacle, watching them all through binoculars.
Then I moved to another location. Using the GPS I found a few small lakes close to the road to home. There I saw fishermans and a few interesting birds, among which was the little tern.
Yellow Wagtail
Honey Buzzard
Again the Lesser Grey Shrikes.
